The Graduate Academy grants are for the applicants with above-average qualifications for the funding of doctoral research at the University of Heidelberg, Germany.

Call for applications under the landesgraduiertenförderungsgesetz (lGFG)
The Graduate Academy grant payment period is three years. The basic grant is 820 € per month with a travel and material allowance of 1,230 € set aside for the entire duration of the grant.
Criteria for grant eligibility
Excellent qualifications
Acceptance as doctoral student by the university of Heidelberg
Scientific support by professor or associate lecturer
Employment of not more than 40 hours per month
Any employment must be related to the subject being studied for the doctorate (to be confirmed by supervisor)
The annual income of the grant recipient (and that of the spouse where applicable) is factored in when calculating the amount of the grant
