200 Scholarships, Talent Farming Scheme, BSc/MSc (Pakistan)
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) invites applications for the award of scholarships at BSc./BSc (Hons) and MSc levels, under the Talent Farming Scheme for the Session of 2008. Total number of Scholarships available is 100 at BSc/BSc(Hons) level and 100 at MSc level.

Eligibility
The students studying in BSc/BSc(Hons) Part-I and have obtained 60% marks (with 60% marks in Science subjects) at FSc level, whereas MSc students (Part-I) must have secured 60% aggregate marks in Science subjects at BSc level are eligible to apply.
Subjects of study at BSc/BSc(Hons) level are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, and Economics.
Subjects of study at MSc level are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics Statistics, Biology, Zoology, Botany, Micro-Biology, Biochemistry and Physiology.
Stipend
Stipend shall be paid @ Rs.1000/- p.m for BSc/BSc(Hons) and Rs. 500/- p.m for MSc plus Book Allowance @ Rs.1000/- for BSc/BSc(Hons) and Rs.1500/-per year for MSc students.
Test
The candidates will be required to take an aptitude test to be conducted by HEC simultaneously at Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Quetta, Peshawar, Mardan, Mansehra, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Faisalabad and Karachi. The test centres could also be established at Attock and Gilgit subject to availability of suitable number of candidates and a suitable place to conduct the test. Test score of each candidate counts 40% weightage with 60% weightage of previous academic attainment to qualify for the scholarship.

Last date for receipt of application forms complete in all respect is 21th June 2008. Incomplete/un-attested documents/applications shall not be entertained. Regional quota is observed.
